I came from the family with a history of diabetes, so I am wary all the times that my kids and I may have too. I saw my family members succumb to diabetes and actually some passed away due to the complications caused by it. It's a scary thought that always bugs my mind.
Having knowledge about diabetes and the signs of diabetes helps to prepare me and my family. At the moment, though I haven't seen any signs of diabetes in me nor my children, knowing what to look for and how to avoid trigger diabetes really keep my mind at ease. A regular visit to doctor for overall health check up is a must for my family and I suggest that to others who have family history of diabetes and other diseases.
Here are the list of signs that are common to diabetic person:
1. Frequent visit to bathroom to urinate.
2. Always thristy.
3. Weight loss or weight gain without any reason.
4. Healing of wounds is slow. Infection keeps coming back.
5. Blurry vision.
6. Gum infection, swollen of gums, and losing of teeth.
When some of these signs are present, it is important to visit the doctor.
