I am still feeling lucky to be living in a place where every one is ready to lend a helping hand when needed. Before I settled here, I was living in the city where I did not know anyone and where nobody will dare to lift a finger at you when you are in need much more when you are in danger. Right now, I feel secure that our neighbors will always be ready to help us anytime as we are to them.
Just like today, a neighbor's only child will be celebrating her 18th birthday and every one is so busy. Everyone has volunteered to be part of the preparation. My family and I sponsored the picture bags which have the picture of the debutant, and inside the bag will have the thank you gifts for the visitors. Others do the cleaning of the place and decorations, a family of good cook prepares the food, and other families are on the cake. I just imagine that this kind of preparation will be so expensive if done in the city where you need to pay everybody just to have this kind of celebration to happen.
